New Delhi, April 1, 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the release of its revised curriculum for the academic session 2026–27, introducing significant changes aimed at aligning school education with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023.
Phased Curriculum Rollout
According to the official circular, the curriculum for Classes XI and XII has been released on April 1, 2026, while the updated curriculum for Classes IX and X will be made available on April 2, 2026.
This staggered rollout reflects the Board’s structured approach to implementing reforms, especially as Class IX becomes the entry point for NCF-2023-based changes.
